Video Tutorial Page Template

In addition to the template page.php it is also possible to define custom page templates which can then be used in the backoffice part. To create a template, you just need to create a new PHP file which will have a specific comment at the start.

By default, only pages can have page templates, but you can add a new type using the comment Template Post Type.
